“Twin suicide car bombs that targeted a notorious military intelligence compound shook the Syrian capital, Damascus, on Thursday, killing and wounding hundreds of people and raising the likelihood of extremist elements propelling the conflict to a more treacherous phase. ” – The New York Times

The rebellion in Syria has turned into a full-blown war between different sects and groups; bombs are exploding everywhere; the bodies of lifeless Muslims surfacing throughout the streets of Damascus. It has turned into a nation safe for no one, not even the rulers.

As each sect attempts to grab as much power as possible things will simply get worse and might embroil the entire Levant into a conflict. We may see a Balkanization of that region which will not serve the interest of anybody, but it will especially be detrimental for the Muslims.

It is incumbent upon all parties to come to a peace settlement that deposes Assad for good. If it takes a decade or a year to get to that point, then the world should prepare for a regional conflict, in the middle east.

This was one of the headlines on the New York Times this week: the Arab television network based from Doha, Qatar is banned in the mainland. The chickens came home to roost?

At the beginning, when that channel opened up, it was widely seen as an alternative to the western media in the Muslim World, however lately it has turned into a copycat network going by the same mantra as CNN, BBC, and other western media outlets.

Good luck to Al Jazeera.

Why is it the case that a good many terrorists — Osama Bin Laden included — seem to have ties with the Central Intelligence Agency? When these persons are doing acts of terror on behalf of the CIA it’s perfectly fine, but when these individuals switch sides and decide to put a dagger into the back of their former employer it becomes a problem. This is a theme that runs through the life of almost every “terrorist”: once worked with CIA, then something happened, and then they are waging jihad against “the Great Satan”.

It baffles most rational and logical thinkers.

Few years ago, an ignorant newspaper in Denmark published a insulting drawing of the prophet of Islam; in that drawing it showed the prophet wearing a turban with bombs inside it. Muslims across the world condemn the drawing; the prime minister of Denmark did nothing.

“Ambassadors from ten Muslim countries request a meeting with Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Danish Prime Minister, over the cartoons. He refuses to meet them.” – Associated Press

The PM refused to meet the ministers of these ten Muslim countries, yet when the entire world exploded in anti-Danish sentiment he came out and said: “I want to appeal and reach out to all people and countries in the Muslim world. Let us work together in the spirit of mutual respect and tolerance”; he wants to work together at last when the going got tough (Muslims in New York began boycotting products from Denmark; Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia severed diplomatic ties with Copenhagen; Danish companies had difficult times doing business in the Middle East; all of these events forced him to make his statement).

The strategy of the non-believer is simple: when Muslims wish to work with him he refuses, but when Muslims back up their words with violent actions and protests he suddenly wants to work together. When dealing with Europeans tie a rope around their neck, tell them it is an ornament, and then ask them to work with you, if they refuse begin tightening the noose of the rope until he relents. This was how our forefathers dealt with the unbelievers and this is how we must deal with them as well.

The Olympics is an ancient Greek festival held by the pagans of the city of Athens, but today it is a international playground for athletes of all countries of the world.

Although a good number of Muslim nations compete in it without any issues, in the men’s games, however an issue arises when it comes to Muslim women competing because most female athletes from the West, almost all of them are irreligious and are free to dance naked across the stage without a moral qualm. Muslim women are of another class, they have modesty and self respect. And that raises an issue.

FIFA banned the women’s football team from Iran because of their head covering; a big deal is being made about Saudi women competing in the Olympics as well as a new Times article illuminates.

Muslim nations should simply stop participating in pagan festivals like the Olympics; if we behave like them, if we address like them, if we behave like them, then we cease to be us, we cease to be Muslims.

Sayyid Qutb, the infamous Egyptian, who is often credited with the mentoring of Osama Bin Laden wrote a book before he was brutally murdered mentioning the process by which the Muslim world has re-entered a state of pre-Islamic ignorance. Although a great number of people disagree with what he said, but it seems to be true: the Muslim world is in a state of Jahiliyyah.

In Iraq the Americans have left and are hiding in the Gulf State of Kuwait and other army bases in Saudi Arabia, but a new war has emerged after the old ended: Arab against non-Arabs. Mainly the Kurds of Iraq most of whom are Muslims. The Arabs in their bigoted manner have reverted to the old jahaili ways of seeing their ethnicity as superior to that of the Kurds. As most Muslims understand, the Prophet specifically stated: “An Arab is not better than a non-Arab and a non-Arab is not better than an Arab,” and yet his words are ignored by those who persecute Kurds.

The New York Times reported:

“In January, the dismembered body of Wisam Jumai, a Kurdish intelligence officer, was discovered in a field in Sadiyah, a small town in northeastern Iraq. Soon his family and friends, one after another, received text messages offering a choice: leave or be killed.”

For Muslims to kill each other is the gravest crime under Islamic Law.

Who says he was wrong? He is right, and most people know it; those that feign otherwise are deceptive to themselves. Most avoid telling the truth because, despite the more than 50 years having past since the holocaust, are still afraid of being labeled an anti-Semite.
